Magnets

Below are the different options Sarah and I have come-up with. They aren't the best looking. We are now thinking, what if we put magnets on both sides that were glued to the inside of the bird? This way, no one would see any hinges or gaps...?

Hinge option 1

The hinge would be on the outside so it would show, but there would be no gap. A magnet set would be on the other side.

Hinge option 2

We could put one or two hinges on the inside of the flock bot and a magnet on the other side. But there would still be a small gap.

Velcro option 1

We stuck velcro along the lip of the flock bot (a magnet) would be on the other side. There is still a small gap that = the thickness of the velcro.

Velco option 2

We made a hinge out of the velcro (on the inside), but it left a large gap between the two pieces. The other side would have the magnet.
